Nesbitt, volunteer Lorain County coordinator for the National Graves Registration Project of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, he served as a private, enlisted on 8/30/1864, and "died at Camp Chase, Oh. (Initially) interred in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Oh." Note that in the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System database, <http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.htm>, he is also listed as having served in the "186th Regiment, Ohio Infantry."
